Bringing simplicity to farm safety

Dedicated health & safety support for farmers

Simple farm workplace health and safety arrangements

No one wants an injury to themselves or any workers, visitors or family members. But the reality is, you do need to back yourself up with effective farm safety arrangements to protect workers, family and your business.

If you are ever charged with breaching the WH&S Act, having a safe culture and routines in place can give your lawyer some mitigating evidence to help defend you.

It’s not all about paperwork! Record keeping is a good habit to foster but often it’s not the priority item to be addressed on a farm.

Risk assessments and action plans

I offer an individual risk assessment for your farming operation no matter where you are located. After which, you will receive an Action Plan and Priorities List.

This plan is the first step to setting you on the right path with farm safety. You can then use my membership resources to do it yourself or request further assistance & advice from me through my tailored packages.

Safety, road regs & compliance

I can help you with farm safety and all that it entails. I also offer assistance and research on farm vehicle and ag machinery regulations for movement on road and other regulations affecting farmers.

Safety groups for farm women

Farm women are key to safety improvements on farm. You can provide genuine support to each other through this journey so I encourage farm women to form small groups and work through farm safety implementation together. Groups could be neighbours, friends, family members, any dynamic you want, and your group support can be largely via electronic communication.

My safety management journey began within the fishing industry in 2003 and has since evolved into a largely broadacre grain and livestock safety consultancy business.

I have Diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety and Rural Business Management and am an experienced administrator/bookkeeper.

Who am I?

I farm 1500 hectares with my husband on Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, and enjoy helping my fellow farmers navigate farm safety and other regulations that affect our business operations.

I’m a mother of two, a passionate Agvocate and Agricultural tweeter @broadacrebabe.

How I help you

You can do this!

I encourage you along your safety journey and provide whichever level of assistance you require, at your own pace.
Everything I supply has a ‘do it yourself’ outcome, which allows you to learn as we go and enables your business to minimise set-up costs.

I want you to be the one in control of your own business and the way it operates.

Why work with me?

Like you, I live farm life every day.
I too have ‘safety system un-enthusiasts’ within our business!

I too am juggling farm and family so I completely understand the pressures and challenges in your daily life. That's why I am well placed to help.
